It will be part of the next post, but since it's been so long, perhaps Mr. Hintze would like to let people know what is going on with Frank Castle?

We know he's involved in something SHIELD related...

Well....after taking down a human trafficking operation in New York, Frank found himself attacked by a SHIELD strike force. Turns out the trafficking operation was the brainchild of someone with ties to SHIELD and the ongoing corruption in its ranks. Frank is taken to Madripoor where he is interrogated and meant to be quietly killed, but he ends up escaping thanks to the assistance of Maria Hill, one of the agents assigned to his interrogation. Turns out she is working for Nick Fury, who has himself been working to uncover the corruption within SHIELD and the true force behind the powers-that-be in the organization. The upcoming concluding chapter of my inaugural arc will reveal a lot more of the true force behind SHIELD as well as have Frank reach a resolution to his attack on the human trafficking ring. All this, plus an entirely new status quo for Frank, courtesy of Nick Fury.....

Ah! Glad to see it back!

Welcome back, Mr Hintze!

BTW, I enjoyed that FIREARM fic you did a long time ago. I found it just recently...I really got into ULTRAVERSE and was looking for some fanfics as well...(Myself, I did a PUNISHER fanfic where Castle met and another where Castle and Firearm, with others, teamed up)

This new chapter-Chapter 18-was great. Castle is a bit more human than I am used to, but it was solid. I always liked the idea that Castle (and guys like him) could be the last resort for the likes of SHIELD.

Looking forward to more from you!

Why, thank you, sir.

I totally forgot about the Firearm stuff...I have a real love for defunct comics universes (Valiant, Defiant, Crossgen) and loved the Ultraverse before Marvel got their meathooks into it. Maybe I should revisit that someday....I do have Prime appearing in DC Infinity's Dark Worlds series.

The next Punisher arc goes totally nuts...hope you enjoy it!

Wow. Prime. I remember this awesome Spider-Prime ad I saw in a comic shop once, but I don't think it ever actually happened. I think it was just a mock-up to get readers. Really cool pic, though, with Spidey in the Prime armor.

I very much enjoyed the HALLOWEEN story. D'spayre vs Frank.

Damn good. None of the usual stuff one might expect, but still damn good.

Why thank you. I like stories that dig into the minds of the characters as much as blowing crap up...and Frank's mind is not quite as intact as people might think.
